Mmwah! Kisses and hugs, I’m feeling happy tonight. I went trick-or-treating with B., A, and S. in Winslow, and the break from workworkworkworkrinseandrepeat gave me a waft of life again.

Just look at this pirate’s great grin.

Downtown Winslow this evening.

Also, Auntie M is a treasure. Last night she made an entire Halloween meal:

There were stuffed peppers with Jack o’lantern faces, homemade root beer in skull cups, deviled egg eyeballs, and…

Amazingly delicious coconut shrimp spiders.

And tonight, we returned from Winslow to an amazing West African soup and pear-almond tart she concocted. Mmm-mmm.

  1. You are welcome anytime! We have a guest room and couches. πŸ˜‰ Keep your head up about student teaching. It will be over soon. Crying seems to help sometimes though. I dont know why, but it seems to let it all out. I am sure you are doing a great job. Sorry its weighing on your mind so much.
